Coloured magic lantern slides of the hospital and its grounds, including views of main building, out-houses and interiors. The images are a mixture of coloured illustrations depicting daily life in the hospital and early hand painted photographs.

The slides were created by "E G Woods, 1-2 Queen Street, Cheapside, London". A typescript index of the slides is included within the box.

The slides were originally created by "E G Woods, 1-2 Queen Street, Cheapside, London". The company dissolved in 1939 and therefore the slides are now expired. The digitised images of the slides were commissioned by Max Communications for the RHN in 2020. The digitised images are free to use for non-commercial use and private study.
